Some weddings are beautiful because of the details. Others because of the people. And then there are weddings like Addison’s — where everything comes together, wrapped in meaning, love, and a little bit of Alberta wild.

Addison’s family is incredibly special to us — we’ve known them our whole life, and there’s a long history of friendship and connection, so photographing this wedding felt so fun!

Their wedding was held at the Cochrane Ranch House. It’s one of those places that feels effortlessly beautiful: a blend of rustic charm and elegant warmth, with beautiful views everyway you look! And just as we were getting into portraits… the sky turned. Fast-moving storm clouds swept in, bringing wind, mood, and just the right amount of drama. But instead of scrambling, everyone leaned into the moment. We embraced it — and ended up with some of the most unforgettable stormy portraits I’ve ever taken. The kind of photos that feel straight out of a movie.

Their large bridal party brought so much life and energy to the day — full of laughter, support, and genuine excitement for the couple. It was clear how loved these two are, and it made every part of the day feel like a true celebration.
