There is something so special about big family weddings. They bring the whole family together for a great time and a joyous occasion.
That was the case for Joyce and Nic's sunny day in Fort Mcleod, Alberta. We started at Joyce's Dad's home for getting ready photos! Andrea with Luxx Salon has done the girls hair for multiple weddings I have photographed and she is AMAZING! Seriously Lethbridge and area people, amazing! I have not seen a bride or bridesmaid with hair that has fallen out in any of the weddings I have shot.
Anyway, after getting ready photos we headed to the Church for the ceremony. One thing I loved about this wedding is after the ceremony we went to the Groom's Grandparents home for lunch! It is great for photos for the wedding party to have full stomachs. We don't want grumpy bridal parties.
The bridal party and I stopped at multiple locations throughout Fort Mcleod. We made the best of our time to get multiple locations in for their final gallery. One of my favourite spots was a local brewery in Fort Mcleod. It was so cool and no one was complaining about a cold drink after a hot afternoon in the sun!
Lastly, the reception was held at Centre Trail Venue. It is such a beautiful and rustic venue. My favourite part was the stunning sunset views for our golden hour photos and the outdoor dance floor.
